1 on 1 lessons are available on violin, viola, and cello. Private lessons are open to students of all ages and experience levels, beginner to advanced. We follow the RCM curriculum, supported with pop songs, fiddle music, Suzuki method books, and other requests by our students! Solo Recitals are held 3 times a year for private students to

We follow the RCM curriculum, supported with pop songs, fiddle music, Suzuki method books, and other requests by our students! Solo Recitals are held 3 times a year for private students to perform with a professional pianist.
Violin/Viola/Cello:
$40/half hour or $50/45 mins or $60/hour
Lessons are held in 2-Month Terms:
Sept/Oct, Nov/Dec, Jan/Feb, Mar/Apr, May/June, & July/Aug.
Payment is to be made in full 1 week before the start of each term. With notice, an absence may be credited toward a rescheduled lesson. Absences without notice are not refunded or credited forward.
There will be no scheduled classes Dec 23-Jan 6, June 23-28, July 21-27, or Sept 1-6 but lesson credits may be used or additional lessons booked during these weeks.
Instrument rentals are provided at a low monthly cost to private students registered for weekly lessons.
Instrument Purchase
Some gently used instruments are available for purchase. Please contact for info. I can also recommend the best places to look for an instrument upgrade when you are ready.

Musicians of all ages are invited to join us!
Our main instructional year runs from mid-September until early June. Lessons are held on a weekly basis, with closures over the Winter holiday and March Break. Musicians perform in 3 major concerts each year. Rehearsals are held weekly, with class sizes of 12-20, and include YouTube tutorials

Students in the group programs are not required to take additional private lessons, except after an absence from class.
String Orchestra (all levels) - $550* *Discounted to $500 for 2nd or 3rd member of same family & household
Instrument rental is included for FREE for children with enrollment in a group class, pending availability of instrument and size. Adult musicians supply their own instrument.

Junior Strings (ages 8-12)
Continuing musicians to improve their music reading and performance skills while playing in 2 and 3 part harmonies. Members should be able to recognize and play all notes in the 1st position, including bs and #s, and confidently play slurred bowings.
Concert Strings (ages 11-17)
This intermediate ensemble performs

This intermediate ensemble performs a variety of music genres in harmony, while developing individual skills. Students in this ensemble should have an understanding of rhythm, vibrato & shifting.
Chamber Strings (RCM Level 6+)
This small ensemble performs challenging repertoire at a high standard in festivals and at community events, while developing ensemble skills, musicianship and leadership skills. Members improve individual technique in private lessons (mandatory).
Community Strings (ages 18+)
This ensemble is intended for adult learners with experience on their instrument and provides the social experience of learning and performing with others in a fun, welcoming and low-pressure environment.
